The CardSeer Editorial Team

The CardSeer Editorial Team is a small group of Pokemon TCG researchers, engineers, market-data operators, and lifelong collectors. We use CardSeer's catalog plus the PokeTrace market dataset to explain how card value, grading spread, and collection tracking work in practice without pretending the market is simpler than it is.

If you spot an error or a stale assumption, email [email protected]. We would rather correct a guide than let a bad claim linger.

Market data first

We use CardSeer's card catalog plus the PokeTrace market dataset to ground every guide, chart, and pricing explanation.

No fake certainty

If a card or route does not have strong coverage, we say so instead of filling the gap with made-up ranges or stale marketplace screenshots.

Actionable workflow

Every guide should help a collector identify a card, compare recent sales, decide whether grading matters, and move into the correct CardSeer tool.

How We Review Content

  1. We rely on CardSeer's card catalog plus the PokeTrace market dataset for card identity, pricing context, and recent sales.
  2. We do not publish exact live prices in schema markup. Users click through to inspect the current chart, sales feed, and grading spread.
  3. If pricing coverage is thin or incomplete, we say so and fall back to the most reliable market signals available on the page.
